Untitled-9.jpg - I'll guess 1958 as I was about 6 years old when I first aspired to be a baseball catcher. I won the door prize one night at the local pro farm team game, I think they were called the Bakersfield Dodgers and associate with the then L.A. Dodgers. The door prize was a gift certificate at the local sports equipment shop and was enough for me to get this complete baseball catchers outfit (kneepads and catchers mit not shown)..
